  • "End the filibuster. Codify Roe. Stop abortion bans." (x.com)
  • "I want to eliminate the filibuster and codify Roe v. Wade. The fact of the matter is that country club Republicans who passed these extreme anti-abortion laws will still go get abortions. The overturning of Roe v. Wade will fall hardest on working families. In the Senate, I'll vote to abolish the filibuster and codify Roe v. Wade." (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation? "Pro-Choice" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • "Congress has spent trillions of dollars subsidizing Big Oil, bailing out banks, and sending us out to fight and die in pointless overseas wars. Any politician who says we can’t afford to give Americans the Social Security benefits they’re owed is a liar." (x.com)
  • Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare? "Yes" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? "No" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? "No" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • "Corporate PACs should be abolished and self-funding should be illegal. We have built a grassroots movement without taking a cent from Corporate PACs, Big Pharma executives, Big Oil executives, or federal lobbyists. Too many politicians take money from the wrong people and end up being accountable to massive corporations that strip our community for parts. We have one of the highest grassroots fundraising percentages in the country --- the majority of his fundraising comes from small-dollar donors. I will only ever be accountable to the real people of Missouri." (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • "I'm proud to be endorsed by @StopBigMoney + @LetAmericaVote. #MOSen Missourians deserve a warrior for working families in the US Senate—not a corrupt politician bought off by the same billionaires and big corporations who've stripped our state for parts. And I'm ready to serve." (x.com)
  • Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? "Yes" (justfacts.votesmart.org)

  • Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct? "No" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • "We don't need more handouts to defense contractors, "nation building" overseas, or endless wars. What we need to do is invest in building out the next generation of energy right here in America as a matter of national security. Politicians spent trillions of dollars and countless lives on forever wars for oil. All the while, our communities here at home were left worse off. Lucas Kunce wants to Marshall Plan the Midwest: invest in forgotten towns by building out the next generation of energy, which will create good-paying union jobs, make America energy independent, and save the planet." (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • Do you support increasing defense spending? "No" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • "If we invested in putting America first in nextgen energy production, we could rebuild states like Missouri and create generations of good jobs in essential industries." (x.com)
  • "The reason we have inflation is because we don't make stuff in America anymore. We have an overly globalized economy run by massive corporations that have outsourced our jobs, our manufacturing, even our agriculture. Our supply chain is so reliant on China that our economy has become wholly reliant on overseas manufacturing and production. We need to make stuff in America again. That's how we create new jobs. That's how we build a more reliable supply chain. That's how we compete in the global economy." (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth? "Yes" (justfacts.votesmart.org)

  • "Voting rights are under assault nationwide, and we've got politicians in Washington more worried about being polite to those leading the attack. If you're are a U.S. Senator and you're not working to abolish the filibuster, you're are not doing your job." (x.com)

  • "If we invested in putting America first in nextgen energy production, we could rebuild states like Missouri and create generations of good jobs in essential industries." (x.com)
  • "We have to build out the next generation of energy right here in MO. Our addiction to fossil fuels is destroying our country and empowering our global competitors. Right now, China leads the world in global production of next generation energy, while we still rely on dictators in Saudi Arabia and Russia for fossil fuels. America has to become energy independent, and we do that by building new sources of energy right here in the heartland." (justfacts.votesmart.org)

  • "If we invested in putting America first in nextgen energy production, we could rebuild states like Missouri and create generations of good jobs in essential industries. So why does Josh Hawley want to keep us hooked on Big Oil, OPEC, and China for energy? You can probably guess:" (x.com)

  • "I've been in urban and rural Missouri, and everyone agrees that we need background checks and red flag laws so that we can prevent criminals, teenagers, and terrorists from accessing guns. The fact that Congress still hasn't been able to pass these is a disgrace. We need to abolish the filibuster and pass commonsense gun safety legislation. We also need to invest in training programs. • Do you generally support gun-control legislation? "Yes" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
  • "As Missouri’s next U.S. Senator, I’ll protect and support LGBTQ+ Americans. That means banning discrimination and ending the epidemic of anti-trans violence — but also achieving universal healthcare, empowering workers, and investing in communities instead of corporate profits." (x.com)
  • "Pleasantly surprised to see I’m not the only candidate for U.S. Senate in Missouri who supports universal healthcare!" (x.com)
  • "The fact that we still don't have paid medical leave in this country is criminal. Rich people take off work whenever they need it. Working class people are expected to work through any and every sickness. It's wrong. What's more is that we need to pass universal health care. I know what it's like to live one medical disaster from bankruptcy. When my little sister was born with a heart condition, my family went bankrupt. Nobody should have to go through that. Abolish the filibuster. Pass universal health care." (justfacts.votesmart.org)

  • "Just 3 companies set the price for insulin. Rationing, deaths, amputations... They raise that price as high as they can get away with until people start rioting. Capping insulin prices? That's the floor. Get it done, then prosecute this drug cartel for killing people." (x.com)
  • "Cancer drugs. Antibiotics. Adderall. THEY are failing to get us the meds we need. Now they want US to cover their losses. Big Pharma is a ruthless drug cartel. It’s time for Washington to break it up, prosecute them, and get these drugs made in America." (x.com)
  • "If I learned anything as a Marine in Yuma in 2009 or since then, it’s that our politicians are full of shit. We can’t trust them to fix the border or our broken immigration system." (x.com)
  • "The difference between me and Josh Hawley on the border? I think Congress should act. He doesn't. Missourians deserve a U.S. Senator who will fight for a secure border and pro-worker immigration policy regardless of what party has the White House. We don't have that with Hawley." (x.com)

No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
We should be taxing the massive corporations that are relying on government subsidies to increase their bottom line. For example, Big Oil companies, which suck government and military resources only to price gouge us at the pump.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Corporate PACs should be abolished and self-funding should be illegal. We have built a grassroots movement without taking a cent from Corporate PACs, Big Pharma executives, Big Oil executives, or federal lobbyists. Nobody should be above the law. In the Senate, I'll vote to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.
No Do you support increasing defense spending?
We don't need more handouts to defense contractors, "nation building" overseas, or endless wars. What we need to do is invest in building out the next generation of energy right here in America as a matter of national security. Politicians spent trillions of dollars and countless lives on forever wars for oil. All the while, our communities here at home were left worse off. Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
No Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
The reason we have inflation is because we don't make stuff in America anymore. Unknown Position Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
We have to build out the next generation of energy right here in MO. Our addiction to fossil fuels is destroying our country and empowering our global competitors. Right now, China leads the world in global production of next generation energy, while we still rely on dictators in Saudi Arabia and Russia for fossil fuels. America has to become energy independent, and we do that by building new sources of energy right here in the heartland.
Yes Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
I've been in urban and rural Missouri, and everyone agrees that we need background checks and red flag laws so that we can prevent criminals, teenagers, and terrorists from accessing guns. No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
Yes Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
The fact that we still don't have paid medical leave in this country is criminal. Rich people take off work whenever they need it. Working class people are expected to work through any and every sickness. It's wrong. What's more is that we need to pass universal health care. No Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Unknown Position Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
Unknown Position Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
As a Marine who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, I watched our politicians send $6.4 trillion nation-building overseas while letting our own communities back home suffer. Corner stores boarded up. The house I grew up in was bulldozed down. Those forever wars in the Middle East didn't make our country safer. I support reducing military intervention everywhere. We need to invest more in our own communities instead of intervening everywhere else.
No Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
"Free trade" was a scam. Wall Street, Corporate America, and billionaire families have spent decades cashing in while they sell us out to oligarchs in China, Belgium, and Brazil. My test for trade deals in the Senate won't be "fairness" ? it'll be putting American workers first.
1. End corporate control of our democracy - Abolish corporate PACs. Eliminate the filibuster (a tool used by massive corporations to maintain the status quo) so we can codify Roe v. Wade, build out the next generation of energy, pass universal health care, and more. 2. End corporate control of our economy - No dumping money into Wall St. Break up Big Ag, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Oil and make our markets competitive once again 3. Nation build America - Start making stuff in America again. Build up our forgotten towns and invest in our communities.
