| A constitutional, truly "federal" government has very, very few authorized roles in what was supposed to be a Republic. Murder, abortion, theft...most things are state-level issues. My whole ethos is Pro-Life and Pro-Individual. But I'd be happy to chat about the practical and moral arguments against government interventions, and the fact that our culture has become an anti-human, anti-child, anti-life monstrosity. But it's not a federal issue, now, and shouldn't be, by constitutions and practical administration. Side note: trans-border disputes should be handled in courts, and only as individual cases - not as universally applicable law. | |||

What we really ought to do is look at what we've been doing to our children and young men/women with prescription psychotropics known to have side-effects of suicidal and homicidal "ideation," and action. We have an awful mental health/ physical health crisis that affects boys disproportionally. Look at the statistics in imprisonment, drug abuse, behavioral problems, retardation, spectrum disorders, and suicide. Try to think less about the guns themselves, and more about the humans holding them. Besides... The Second Amendment is about much, much more than just guns.
