| My top priorities when elected are Education: public education around the country is seen as failing around the country. We need to increase spending either through the taxes collected via sales tax, income tax, etc and support the funding of new school books, technology, and funding for teachers. Environment: Global warming is one of the biggest issues the world is currently facing whether it be by man made climate change, or the cycles of the earth. Both of those combined is making droughts happen more often, more floods in other places, and hurricane seasons more disastrous. We need to increase funding and apply more subsisdies in green projects such as nuclear, wind, solar, and water energy as that will lower the cost and make them more efficient over time as we slowly start to rely on fossil fuels less and less. We would obtain funding through donations and federal funding to make this happen. |
