| My campaign's theme is one of "Protecting America�s Future ". We do this by addressing our national debt, now over $35 Trillion and growing, that is $104,000 per person! Hence, we must have a balanced budget amendment in place or, at the very least, we need to contain overall federal budget growth for at least ten years. In addition, we need 5o implement campaign and election reforms, such as Term Limits, to create a more robust and responsive democracy. We stabilize our present by redoubling efforts to combat homelessness, ensure affordable housing and work to tackle human trafficking, including border control measures to combat the illegal immigration that is contributing to it. We secure our past by honoring our commitments to Veterans, shoring up social security now, not later, to ensure it remains fully solvent for the next 75 years and stopping the Modern Day Slavery happening through involuntary, for-profit, abusive, fraudulent guardianships and conservatorships; whereby innocent victims are placed into Probate Court and regarded as a mere piece of property. All they own is stripped from them, including their identity. There are over 1.3 million adult guardianships in the United States and an estimated $50 billion in assets under guardianship arrangements according to Washington DC Today, United States Senate Special Committee on Aging. Over half of those are involuntary, abusive, for-profit, frauduent guardianships and conservatorships. No American should have all their property, life savings and freedom stripped from them! It is criminal, but legal through the Probate Court system. This must stop! My campaign centers on advocating for marginalized voices, promoting justice and security for all individuals and implementing systemic changes to ensure stability. This involves acknowledging past sacrifices, prioritizing comprehensive reforms and empowering otherwise marginalized communities to build a more fair and secure future for generations to come. As Hubert H. Humphrey is credited with saying, "The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped". He said this during his final speech in 1977. America has clearly failed this test. If elected I would see to it that we regard those as a top priority. No longer would the needs of children, the elderly and the sick and disabled be ignored. The Affordable Care Act gave Eleven and a half billion dollars to Hospice to go from Good Samaritan to the Grim Reaper! No longer is Hospice considered Comfort Care and it is used to basically eliminate elderly and disabled who are not even terminally ill! Hospice is now traded on the New York Stock Exchange! This must stop! No one should be forced to die against their will! I intend to introduce a human rights bill that would make forcing a victim to die a federal offense. We must return to the dignity of life from conception to natural death. |
