  • "Complete the project to build the fence/wall across the Southern US Border, the U.S. has already paid for much fencing through contracts which were probably terminated for the government's convenience. Fund electronic means to observe the border, provide funding to support border states. U.S. cannot allow immigrants to "jump the line" ahead of those following current laws/protocols for entry into the U.S." (www.jonathanmccolumn.com)

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
Our country has an extraordinary debt. We cannot afford to continue spending with certain exceptions, i.e. defense spending. Inflation is remarkably high. Stop spending.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
I would not normally support regulating contributions. However, mandatory contributions unions -right to work- are questionable, in example. In addition, dark money has the propensity to ruin politics. Would suggest inquiry and analysis before making determinations.
Yes Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct?
Yes Do you support increasing defense spending?
The #1 Existential Threat to the U.S. is China. Our defense must be prepared to overwhelm any nation state or non state actor in the world. "Peace through strength"
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Unknown Position Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
The mechanism to support businesses has failed as a result of funding was somehow directed to questionable sources; The answer is yes and no.
Unknown Position Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
The answer is yes and no. It depends upon where and how the standards are determined.
No Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
Unknown Position Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
It depends. In an emergency situation, the government may need to provide loans or subsidize the effort. The impact on small businesses could easily impact their ability to remain viable. If businesses cannot receive revenues, how do they remain in business?
Yes Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
The rule of law...
Unknown Position Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
Unknown Position Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
In general, "no". It depends upon the current threat. The U.S. must employ prescribed tools of influence to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction. They include: Diplomacy - Information - Military - Economic Policy with an emphasis on diplomacy, information and economic policy Question 2. It depends. Where conflict is existential to our allies and/or NATO, the U.S. must intervene. Otherwise, use military as least preferred method.
Unknown Position Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
Sometimes
1. Repair the Economy - U.S. has a major spending problem. Must reduce spending with the long term goal, ?reduce the national debt?. Prioritize spending with major emphasis on funding priorities and those threats deemed existential to the U.S. (not global warming). As a result of inflation, anticipate monetary policy intervention by the Fed - a recession is looming as a result of Biden policies. 2. Reduce Crime - Return to rule of law; ?re-empower? police. Add training 3. Security of US borders - Rule of law 4. Reinvigorate energy independence 5. American Exceptionalism 6. No Critical race theory
