I don't think it's fair to group 1 person small businesses with multi-national corporations in this scenario. Economic growth is increased best by putting money into the consumer's hands. Reducing corporate taxes has not proven to increase GDP and has actually proven the opposite. Corporate tax rates have been dropping since 1950. So has GDP. I support strengthening small businesses as a means to offset corporate dominance and reach underserved areas.

History shows that our intervention in foreign conflicts that do not directly involve us only escalates the situation and leads to negative repercussions that drastically outweigh the benefits, like terrorism.

I believe tariffs are acceptable if done for the proper purpose. Placing tariffs on imports from countries that manipulate their currency and create artificial trading advantages at the expense of American jobs is an excellent example of where tariffs are helpful.
My top priorities are passing Voting Rights legislation, resolving racial inequality, and strengthening a small businesses. We need to make sure all eligible Americans vote. We resolve racial inequality by implementing policies that benefit all lower-income Americans, which will disproportionately help minimize the wealth gap. By adjusting or eliminating some of the taxes and legislation over the last 40 years, we can reduce the advantages that corporations have been given over small businesses. A stronger small business community counters corporate leverage and helps rural communities.
