| Florida's remaining natural environments must be save for wildlife, for people and for climate balance. We need real leaders in Florida's government who will stop this pollution and clean up the waterways! We can build more wastewater treatment systems to clean up sewage. We can remove septic systems. We can tell the big polluters to clean up their own byproducts or method of production. There is no good reason to discharge such dangerous chemicals into our waterways now, as these waterways are becoming saturated, particularly the Gulf. The dilution method is not working anymore. In schools, book banning, hating on teachers, removing funding for critical resources, such as counselors and mental health counselors, needs to stop. Teachers need to be paid more, commensurate with other jobs requiring education and ongoing trainings. Each school needs to be properly funded, even if we have to go back years or decades to find the correct amount of funding. Schools have been defunded every year for far too long. Many people have been marginalized such as LGBTQ+, women, and people of different races and religions. Everyone deserves a government that is accountable to her or him. Each person deserves the American constitutional rights and fundamental freedoms. Also, just as people deserve this, so does the Earth and its critical environments with the inhabitants of each one. This means that we must keep the parts of each biome in balance, not with a hole in the foodchain. |
