There has never been a fair fight where one side was not allowed to act like they were in a fight. It is time that we elect leaders who are open about the fact that there is a class war going on and leave no doubt about which side they are on. | |||
| Central Maine Power is a monopoly. It is owned by rich people from around the world. They use CMP to put Mainers' hard-earned money into their pockets. Why should Mainers have no choice but to buy electricity from the global elite? We should use low-interest bonds to buy CMP from its rich shareholders and turn it into a worker-consumer owned business. Mainers are smart enough to run their own electric company. Is your bank a credit union? That's a consumer cooperative! We can do the same thing with CMP. When we do, the people will get the profits. |
