| No | In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? | ||
| Yes | Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare? | ||
| I agree with Joe Biden that no taxes should be raised unless you make over 400,000 per year. | |||
| Yes | Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? | ||
| We must end Citizens United | |||
| No | Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct? | ||
| I fully support our police but bullies with badges need to be held accountable. | |||
| Yes | Do you support increasing defense spending? | ||
| I fully support whatever our troops need to be safe on the battlefield. I would need more details on what the increased defense spending entails. | |||
| Yes | Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| No | Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19? | ||
| The Federal Government should support Joe Biden's plan to "Buy American". There needs to be stringent oversite on where COVID-19 relief is going to ensure bad actors are not taking advantage of the relief when it is life or death for families & small businesses. | |||
| Yes | Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards? | ||
| I can understand both sides of this issue. In a global economy, our students need to receive the best education in order to compete, National education standards can be a good first step but there must also be a more individualized oversite, as a "one size fits all" approach can leave many students behind. We need to acknowledge and take into account that all students learn differently. | |||
| Yes | Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)? | ||
| Yes | Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions? | ||
| We need to act now to ensure that future generations have a healthy planet to live on. | |||
| Yes | Do you generally support gun-control legislation? | ||
| I am a gun sense candidate and a gun owner. I support closing gun show loopholes & background checks. | |||
| No | Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")? | ||
| Yes | Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19? | ||
| Yes | Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)? | ||
| Yes | Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts? | ||
| Diplomacy should be the first and most important attempt to resolve any conflict. The use of military force should be a last resort and only implemented when there is verifiable proof that our country is in danger. | |||
| Yes | Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)? | ||
| The physical and financial health of the country, planet and individuals are intertwined and create the platform for all other issues to be resolved. Without a healthy population and planet, we are severely weakened and without financial stability, we have few tools to deal with these or any other problems which beset us. My top priority would therefore be the stabilization of this country through efficient management of our resources, both physical and financial, which cannot be accomplished without a comprehensive plan to harness and rein in this Pandemic. We need a cohesive, "one for all, all for one" approach. |
