| I begin with the notion that taxation is theft and work backward to find real solutions. We could start by cutting wasteful spending in other areas if shortfalls occur. I would also offer an opt-out option to the next generation and support more free-market solutions to health and retirement. Currently, we are not on a sustainable path for either program. | |||

| Financing campaigns is a real mess---if donors actually understood where most of their contributions ended up, they might never donate. As a candidate, I am appalled by how the system is set up for the benefit of 3rd party vendors and the consultant class who could care less about the issues and only seem to care about profiting from campaigns. My only complaint with unions is that they do not give their members the option of opting out of the portion of dues which is applied to electioneering without penalty. Quality candidates will raise funds and volunteers. | |||

Unfortunately, the government reinflated the bubble, and we will all feel the adverse effects for years to come. The future inflation as a result of the trillions spent over the last few months will likely cancel out any government money given out today. | |||

| That could be worked out between the employer and employee prior to the employee agreeing to work for the business. Allowing people to keep more of the fruit of their labor allows more personal responsibility to save for economic downturns and for life's unexpected events such as the Chinese Corona Virus. If it can be proven who is responsible for events such as the pandemic, those responsible should be held financially accountable as much as possible. | |||

| To clarify on the "wall", we must have secure borders, in sections, a wall, an invisible fence, or some other type of fencing will suffice. But, we must ask why they come and address that problem. Could it be that their country of origin is riddled with corruption due in part to something our government has done in terms of bad policy? We would be wise to address such possibilities or this will continue regardless of barriers. | |||

Perhaps reflecting on our interventionist foreign policy going back to the days of Woodrow Wilson "spreading democracy around the world" through the barrel of a gun. Perhaps examining the CIA documented subject of "blowback." Either way, how much military force could we avoid be rethinking our foreign policy and investing in more diplomacy could go a long way to a peaceful world. | |||

| I believe our nation is under philosophical assault by Marxists who seek to undermine our republican form of governance, and a free society that embraces individual liberty. In addition to being an advocate for restoring the original intent of the framers to have a government secure God-given rights and to defend the liberty of the individual, I believe the foundation of our economy must be restored as well. Our monetary system must be returned to its original intent if we are to ever sustain growth, and encourage savings. So I would work to end the hidden inflation tax. |
