Healthcare has always been a top priority for me, my mother struggles to pay for her medication, and my cousin died because she couldn't afford healthcare. The pandemic has caused millions of Americans to lose their jobs, which in turn lost their health insurance. I have come to the realization we need universal healthcare. Education is another top priority. For our children to be successful, we need to increase teacher's wages. By using the federal tax code to create a permanent $13,000 refundable Teachers Tax Credit. The result would increase a take-home pay of $230 per week.
