There is no so called Social Security Trust Fund. President Johnson, a Democrat, changed the law to fund Great Society welfare programs, with the annual contributions we all make to Social Security. They are not saved in a Fund. Thus, Social Security benefits are now paid by an annual appropriation. This is OK for today, but projections clearly show we cannot support Social Security payments in the futur we will simply run out of money. We need comprehensive bipartisan social security reform. One solution may be for individuals to own their own accounts like 401K.

We must return control of education to the local jurisdictions. For 200 years we did NOT have a Department of Education, now after 40 years what has it accomplished? It spends billions, attempts to dictate what every school in the United States will teach and pushes its liberal agenda. I will diligently review the activities of ED to either eliminate the Department or restrict its authority. A conference at Harvard University is proposing to eliminate home schooling. I support parents right to choose how their children should be educated: public, parochial, charter or home school.

Not every medical crisis is COVID-19 related. We have regulations on the books on Medical assistance to employees and they should stand. Small Businesses cannot afford to pay all their employees without income.

However, we have to accept the fact we have millions of illegal immigrants. We should build the wall and enforce our laws. Bipartisan and comprehensive immigration reform is needed now! Let's stop the 'band aid' fixes and reform the entire system to address our legitimate requirements for legal immigration, close the porous borders and stop pandering to special interest groups. President Trump proposed a comprehensive reform. I support that legislation and will work on a bipartisan basis to fix this broken system. As a legal immigrant and a naturalized citizen, I am aware of the complexities of this broken system.

United States must intervene only when our most vital national security is at stake. Also before we intervene we must determine the positive outcome of the intervention that's is how we can win. If we cannot answer these two questions upfront, we should not intervene militarily. The United States has at its disposal a host of other forces than it can bring to bare in a particular situation... sanctions, economic, political, social, and working with allies.

There is no question that the international trade since the world war II benefited the world. So, while I support free trade in concept, one cannot be blind to the reality, that some of our trading partners can abuse "free trade". We have a glaring example of this abuse by China during this Pandemic. To quote Ronald Reagan when it comes to free trade, "we need to trust but verify". As a member of congress I will support the President's agenda to hold our trading partners accountable.
1. Education: We must return control of education to the local jurisdictions. ED spends billions, attempts to dictate what every school in the United States will teach and pushes its liberal agenda. 2. Election-System-Reform: Stop voter fraud and illegal voting. Only citizens should have the right to vote and voter ID is essential. There must be strict control over absentee ballots and ballot harvesting. 3. Immigration: Bipartisan and comprehensive immigration reform is needed now to address our legal immigration, close the porous borders. I support President Trump's comprehensive reform and will work on a bipartisan basis to fix immigration.
