Unknown Position Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
We are pro-life. We believe life starts at conception. We must protect the life of a child and I will support each and every bill that serves that goal, including: No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance Act Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act Life at Conception Act Protecting Life and Taxpayers Act of 2019 Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act Dismemberment Abortion Ban Act of 2019 Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act Parental Notification and Intervention Act of 2019 Fetal Heartbeat Bill Roe v. Wade should be overturned.
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
This country was built on the backs of those citizens who worked hard and toiled to make our country great. I believe in working hard, loving our neighbors, and rebuilding the moral and spiritual foundations of America. We need to take an active role in our government and in the lives of others. The long-term and sustainable solution is when ministries, charities, nonprofits, and other NGO related entities decide to get involved and lead. We have a responsibility as individuals and American citizens to look to the plight of the less fortunate and take action.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
If we truly want to have a system of elections filled with integrity and honesty, why not limit campaign contributions to individuals only. Let's stop the pressure from special interest groups and big business and allow the citizens of the United States to determine political outcomes. Shouldn't the purity of the process lead us to want to minimize the impact of money and lead us toward selecting candidates based on their knowledge, moral integrity, and positions on the issues? Doesn't this lead us to a campaign finance system that at least has a chance at morality and ethical standing?
Yes Do you support increasing defense spending?
Military strength and preparedness is the bedrock for an exceptional national security policy here in America. Military strength and preparedness acts as a deterrent to the forces of evil around the world that would do us harm. When America is strong militarily, the world notices and makes decisions accordingly. We have the most dedicated military force (men and women) in the entire world and we need to take the measures necessary to support their resolve to keep us safe. A strong military will help bring the United States of America peace and prosperity for generations to come!
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
We have an umbrella called the Constitution of the United States of America. Underneath that umbrella there are three primary and critical subcomponents. A. Health and Well-being B. Civil Liberties C. Economic Freedom. Each of these three major subcomponents must be protected at all costs. Ultimately, the decision making for each subcomponent MUST move in unison. In other words, we must give equal weight and consideration to each while giving supreme deference to the bylaws of America... i.e. Our Constitution. If we focus on the extremes of either one, we put our country out of balance and at great risk.
No Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Our country needs a system of education that brings the basics of morality, common human decency and a focus on the principles of God?s Word back to the classroom. For the most part, the classrooms in our public schools have become void of the spiritual nourishment needed to sustain a healthy and vibrant society. We see the atrocities occurring across our country at an alarming rate. Our educational system has some skin in the game for these results. Prayer in public schools and an increased awareness of Christian history, including the Ten Commandments, should be part of a student's exposure.
No Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
The United States of America is beginning to experience the impact and bottom-line results of allowing free market forces to control and drive our strategic, long-term and sustainable energy objectives/goals. As a country, we have decided to get the government bureaucrats out of the way and allow good old-fashioned common sense decision making (SMART Energy) to take over. We are living in the most industrialized and technologically sophisticated economy in the world and have come to realize that we need to 'let the horses run!'
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
All attempts by the left to limit our gun rights in any way are back door efforts to control our guns. We must never let this happen. I consider gun ownership to be a foundational element in deterring those who would seek to encroach on the sacred Constitutional safeguards of pursuing life, liberty and the protection of our families. In other words, it protects us from dictatorship and tyranny. The Supreme Court of the United States of America in McDonald vs. Chicago ruled that the right of an individual to "keep and bear arms," as protected under the Second Amendment.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
Yes Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
We need to be sensitive to the medical needs that the Covid-19 crisis has caused. This is an unforeseen healthcare anomaly that must be dealt with and supported.
Yes Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Securing our national borders is one of the primary cornerstones of a free and prosperous democratic republic. The United States of America should have a clearly defined geographical barrier of protection that preserves the freedoms and liberties of all Americans. I believe that an Almighty God has blessed us with a sovereign nation that I am pleased to call my country. America is a hiding place and safe haven for those seeking to experience the totality of freedom through the process of entry appropriated and enforced by law. Without enforcement our country will soon cease to exist.
Yes Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
No Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
We need to draw down our feet on the ground while increasing our drone presence and other technology options. We must do everything we can to protect Israel. The Bible tells us to, 'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee' (Psalms 122:6). It is not something that we should take lightly. If we put Israel in a position where they have to respond and attack other Middle East countries before they acquire nuclear capabilities or attack them, we risk destabilizing the entire Arab region. We wouldn't want to see Israel have to initiate military action.
Yes Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
I would prefer to see the free market forces operate while having an American first business approach.
1. Work tirelessly to overturn Roe v. Wade and protect life 2. Oppose all forms of legislation that are aimed at controlling our guns and limiting our right to bear arms and the right to due process under the law 3. Propose legislation for term limits at the congressional level that will help diminish the influence of lobbyists, professional political operatives, and other institution bureaucrats who are more concerned with power than they are with laws that promote the general welfare of our state and country.
