I will fight for women's access to safe and affordable healthcare and defend the rights of all women to have agency over their own bodies.
Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
I support raising taxes on the top one percent of Americans to help cover the rising costs of social security and a more equitable healthcare system. Middle class taxpayers would not be affected by these proposals. Social Security requires an increase in federal funding to avoid an economic disaster, so yes I would support that. For Medicare, I would support an expansion of the program that can more effectively treat an aging population.

I would strongly support the repeal of Citizens United and measures that would better limit corporate influence in our elections. At the very least, we should work to end "dark money" practices in our elections that give a wealthy few Americans outsized power and influence.

Federal tax dollars are tools for economic growth when used in a responsible way. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we must examine ways to jumpstart our economy by providing relief for families and small businesses. Too many mega-corporations are paying little to no taxes every year, while their employees work overtime for low wages. I support creating tax environments that promote small businesses and drive American innovation, but that hold larger corporations accountable. I will fight for economic relief for small businesses that had their doors closed and employees that are losing their access to crucial public programs like unemployment.

Our results oriented model of public education has led to a complete abandonment of millions of children who every day walk into an unacceptable learning environment. With major investments in teachers and forgotten school districts, we can once again make America a leader in education.

I believe that our 2nd amendment rights shouldn't prevent us from making necessary changes to gun ownership in this country. Universal background checks and the closing of gun show loopholes are issues that are widely supported by Americans, and therefore should be top priorities in Congress. I am proud to have earned the "Gun Sense Candidate of Distinction" endorsement from Moms Demand Action.

I do not. I do support creating equitable systems of healthcare by using the foundation of the ACA to cover our nation's most vulnerable. This does not include ending private insurance, but rather making private insurance accountable to the needs of Americans. Yes, with Federal assistance where available. Requiring paid sick leave for this period of time would severely hinder any small business, so the federal government should step in to support these efforts as we work towards a full recovery.

No, I support listening to experts with decades of experience in immigration that promote technological solutions significantly more effective than an outdated wall. For DACA recipients in particular, we must fully grant their citizenship. For all others, we must take major steps in reforming our broken path to citizenship that has caused pain and hardship for decades.
