| No | In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? | ||
| Yes | Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare? | ||
| When needed we should take money from useless programs and put it into programs in need. I believe we have the money to support our government if we cut spending on programs that the federal government shouldn't be involved in. Social security and Medicare could also use some updating to cut fraud waste and abuse. We lose 100's of billions each year on these programs. We shouldn't have to expand government to make both of these solvent. | |||
| Yes | Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? | ||
| When you look at the support and who it goes to you can see why we have corruption in Congress and politics as a whole. Teachers unions give millions in support to Democrats so they can have a say influence on bills. | |||
| Yes | Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct? | ||
| I believe we need qualified immunity for police. I don't believe they should be protected if there is a pattern of abuse. Each case should be judged on it's merit. Every interaction with police is different. | |||
| Yes | Do you support increasing defense spending? | ||
| I support doing what is necessary to protect America. In this day and age we shouldn't have to spend 100's of billion for protection but it is necessary. I also believe we need to root out fraud waste and abuse in all departments of government. | |||
| No | Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19? | ||
| I support helping businesses that were impacted by the government shutting down the country. As with every program it also has to have checks and balances to make sure there is no fraud waste and abuse. | |||
| No | Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards? | ||
| I believe we need to close the department of education and send all control back to the states where it belongs. There is no one size fits all and the federal government is definitely not the one to dictate the size. | |||
| No | Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)? | ||
| No | Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions? | ||
| America is the engine that produces change. Our people will solve the problems of pollution with the help of the government but not with the direction of it. | |||
| No | Do you generally support gun-control legislation? | ||
| I am a believer in our 2nd amendment. I don't believe we should punish the many for what a very few do. If we enforced out laws and put bad guys in prison we would be much safer then taking away our protections. | |||
| Yes | Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")? | ||
| No | Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19? | ||
| I would wonder how anyone that isn't in business would answer this. If you own a business and the federal government shut you down where would you anticipate a business getting the money from to pay medical leave? Only big business that was allowed to stay open could afford pay medical leave. | |||
| Yes | Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border? | ||
| Yes | Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship? | ||
| This crisis is the making of the Marxist in charge or his puppet masters. In the belief that they will eventually have millions of new voters. We are the only country in the world that is letting in millions of poor people and spending hard working tax payers money to support them. If we don't do something this will be the ruin of our country. | |||
| No | Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)? | ||
| Yes | Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts? | ||
| I support not getting our kids killed, unless absolutely necessary we should not send troops. We are bound by agreements to come to the aid of our allies and we should always look to negotiations over conflict. Always as a last resort should we put our soldiers and sailors in harms way. | |||
| Yes | Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)? | ||
| This question is a little tricky. We need protections from countries dumping mass product here and destroying our industries. As we have seen with our manufacturing base loss after the trade agreements we have made. If we lose all our manufacturing and go to war how will we be able to supply ourselves? | |||
| Energy production would be the top item. Requires no additional funding just opening up our resources. This is what we have to push when we take Congress back and control the purse strings. We need to force this administration to open up the all of the above strategy to lower our fuel prices. This alone will bring inflation back down. Illegal immigration has to be stopped. We need to hold this administration accountable and use the purse strings to make them enforce our immigration laws. |
