| My priorities are to get expanded Medicaid, fully fund education, and get a livable wage for all Texans. Along with Justice reform, and legalization of marijuana, and decriminalizing small amounts or paraphernalia for other illegal drugs, the war on drugs has gone on too long, costing taxpayers millions. We need to focus on more important issues, like the opioid crisis, and spending the tax money on what Texas needs, roads, education, healthcare, and infrastructure, including statewide broadband access. | |||
| Medicaid expansion is a must for all Texans, there are hundreds of thousands of individuals not getting the medical care they need at this moment, simply because they cannot afford the costs. We can fund it, by balancing the budget and cutting from un-needed things or making policy changes for other areas orsimply by legalizing marijuana and using the tax revenue to fund. |
