| We must stop illegal immigration. The dilemma of those who entered illegally, but otherwise have been law-abiding citizens, is a difficult situation. In many cases, their removal would cause more harm than good by disrupting the labor force. However, I absolutely do not condone continued violation of the law at our Southern Border and from the overstay of visas. A more robust guest worker program is needed. One that provides necessary labor but also accounts for all entrants. Developing a path to legal status, but NOT citizenship to identify those already here, coupled with mandatory e-verify is a first step. | |||

I completely support of the trade restrictions placed on China by President Trump, and I support the improvements made to NAFTA under the USMCA. | |||
| The Constitution delineates very few responsibilities for the Federal Government. The vast majority of what the Federal Government is doing should be relegated back to the States. The role of the Federal Government is to provide an environment in which we, as individuals, can achieve our best. Without interference. It is the government's job to ensure that our national security is maintained. That means securing our border, maintaining a strong military to combat those who would do us harm, promoting free-market policies that stimulate our economy, and ensuring we have the food we need to survive. |
