| I would like to see the administration of education innovated. By offering flexible scheduling for both students and educators. Pre-K to 10th grade with 11/ 12 grades being used for entrepreneurship, trades, advance degrees, traditional classes, for those going directly into the workforce a stipend to cover certain living expenses. I'm also proposing transactional property taxes, meaning as long as there is an open loan or contract a flat fee based upon the sale price will be paid. Once the transaction is complete taxes can no longer be collected until the property is sold and a new transaction is opened. | |||
| Many of my proposal use the funds already allocated. Other methods include the legalization of hemp and cannabis to create revenue streams that reinvigorate small towns and rural communities while also helping address health and environmental issues. I would also advocate for the release of non violent offenders which in turn would decrease taxpayer burdens and increase the workforce pool. I believe we should be looking for ways to decrease and eliminate unnecessary cost and reprioritize the wheres, whens and how we use our resources. |
