Abortion is a woman's health issue and should be funded as any other health issue would, without restriction. There should also be expanded access and funding to all women in Arizona for contraception. We must eliminate Arizona's abstinence only programs. I will not support any legislation that restricts access to abortion and will work to repeal TRAP laws in Arizona. | |||

| I support expanded voter registration with only an opt out approach to increase registration and easier voting. All citizens over 18 should be encouraged to vote and voting should be easy. New Mexico is an example of no ID laws and early voting sites that are open to all residents in the state. I support clean elections and we must outlaw dirty money and dark money in all elections and government activities. I believe in transparency and accountability in all of government. | |||

A minor who commits a violent crime must be evaluated on a case by case basis, based on maturity, age and understanding. | |||

No one gets rich or lives well on employment benefits. e. As a healthcare provider drug screening recipients is of no benefit unless the government plans to investigate and work to offer rehab services for free. Otherwise the money used for testing is wasted, the yield will be very low and its use is punitive. It may discourage those from getting the services they need. | |||

| Education must once again become a priority for Arizona. We must restore and then fully fund our k-12 and higher education schools. We must work to limit charter schools which leech money from public schools and require the same accountability and transparency, eliminate the charter school board and instead, put a representative on school boards. We need a dedicated funding revenue source for public education. We must reduce the cost of community college and look to make it "as free as possible" according our state's constitution. Dreamers deserve instate tuition in the state and country they call home. | |||

Arizona has some of the country's dirtiest air, it increases healthcare costs to the state, harms children and adults and hurts our economy. Arizona must take these issues seriously and not ignore but instead lead. Arizona must work on developing a drought contingency plan and work to address our water crisis. | |||

We must close the gun show loopholes. We must not arm teachers but instead, add more counselors, resource officers, nurses and mental health providers to our communities and schools. We must outlaw AR15s and all assault weapons which are tools of death and have no place for protection or hunting. | |||

| There is no religion which believes a child should die from a preventable communicable disease. Science is a gift and vaccinations prevent illness and death in our communities. I do not believe in any exemptions, except health related, from vaccinations. All doctors agree vaccinations are safe and help everyone. The right to die on one's own term at end of life must be made by the family and patient and the state should not interfere. Healthcare is a human right for everyone. We must work to address the opioid epidemic and fund treatment programs that aim at prevention and rehabilitation. | |||

We must restore full funding to education. We must develop a dedicated revenue source, protect it and continue to fund it. We must also work towards Medicaid for all, expanding women's healthcare and rights to exercise choice and eliminate TRAP laws. I will work to mandate age appropriate sex education. All children should learn about healthy living and how to care for their bodies and live a healthy productive life. |
