| 1. Bring the trades back into our schools. Children deserve to graduate from high school with a skill. 2. Update the tax code to make rent tax-deductible as a living expense. 3. Financing for local homeowners to develop their own land into multi-family affordable housing units. We can raise this money by introducing the federal housing bond. This idea is not new. It's been with our country for decades. We paid for half of WWII with federal war bonds. I'm planning to pay for Affordable Housing units with the same WWII like funding mechanism. |
