| First, I want to secure the ballot initiative as a voter right in the state. Too many bills supported by the majority of the populace die in the legislative committees, often leaving no recourse for the average citizen unless they can take it to the polls themselves. Second, I wish to decentralize state power back to the local governments by amending the state constitution to remove extra powers the governor has(like setting the state budget) and having state committee chair be voted on by the committee members instead of appointed by the senate president. |
