Wisconsin Congressional Election 2020 Political Courage Test

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Yes Do you support increasing defense spending?
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
I do support a stimulus to give Small businesses a bridge to keep them from going out of business due to Covid since it was a Pandemic and Businesses following health department guidance shut down to help bend the curve.
No Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
I believe the Federal Department of Education should be eliminated and Education should be managed from the state. I would be willing to have a much smaller Federal Education Department where limited National Guidance is provided but I believe in Federalism and that Education should be locally managed with Parents Controlling where their Childrens education dollars are spent.
No Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
EPA, Department of Energy and several local and other federal agencies have more then adequate regulatory guidance in place on all types of energy production, usage , emissions and more. We need to review and audit these regulations and simplify them and reduce them where they are onerous and unnecessary.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Americans should not have their right to bear arms infringed upon.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
Yes Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
I believe illegal aliens who have entered our country should not be allowed to apply for citizenship if caught and then returned to their country of origin.
Yes Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
We should never take any option off the table when dealing with an adversary who continues to build up an offensive military posture . Peace is not achieved through passivity but rather being so strong that your adversary realizes they should not enter into a kinetic or technological exchange with the U.S. .
No Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
I believe in Bilateral trade agreements that benefit the United States and its Citizens ahead of all else.
I believe our students and their parents must have educational equality. I believe that would be obtained by legislation directing that Parents have the authority to direct the educational dollars allocated for their children to whatever academic institution they would like their child to attend. Next I would like to work with Senator Tim Scott to expand his Economic Opportunity Zones here in the 4th Congressional District of Milwaukee Wisconsin.
