We need to use the largess of the US governments healthcare spending to benefit all Americans. Right now, the US government through Medicaid, Medicare, VA, pay for 47% of all US healthcare. The price they pay for procedures, test, operations are far less than what we have available on the commercial healthcare insurance market. As a US taxpayer you should have access to that discounted rate for major medical insurance. The ACA subsidies could be used toward purchase of this new option.
