The offices that support the people out there are here on land, the contractors that build the rigs and the helicopters and boats that deliver the people and goods all are great jobs for Louisiana and America. | The office I am seeking is to represent many different ideas and thoughts. The fact is narrowing down to three specifics is not how I think. So I will answer vey broad and selfishly. America first. I want to make sure we are taking care of ourselves before anyone else. It is our taxes. It is meant for us. Louisiana next, it will be my job to fight for Louisiana and her people. I want jobs, money, economic investments and coastal protection and rebuilding projects. I want the Mississippi River to be the largest import and export location in the nation. I want Louisiana to be a powerhouse of culture, economics, business and education. American investment, we need to get our money out of the East and invest in the American continents. We can solve many issues by building in the Americas. Immigration is caused by people seeking opportunities. Let our companies build the manufacturing plants that are in China in the South American countries. Let us import all those items here in Louisiana. Let us create trade agreements that require the human rights of workers to be as we treat our people. I am not saying move US manufacturing south, we must keep those jobs. But any company that will invest in the Americas and away form the East will be granted tariff free trade and tax incentives. Just some quick thoughts. The goal would to import all these goods into Louisiana's ports and place on barges to go North. A huge job creator for our people. |
