I want to make sure the government does all it can to prevent unwanted pregnancies in the first place (educational initiatives, over the counter birth control, etc.), but at the end of the day people will find a way to have an abortion if they cannot bear a child, whether it is legal or not. 1) Address systemic issues in our police force - End Qualified Immunity, End the War on Drugs, End No Knock Raids, End Victimless Crime Laws, End Mandatory Minimum Sentencing, and End the Militarization of Police. 2) We need to reduce the size and scope of our military. We are meddling in unnecessary endeavors overseas, and that money could be much better spent here at home. 3) I will support removing federal regulations on guns, and encouraging nationwide concealed carry laws. I'd feel safer knowing that responsible gun owners were around me were carrying weapons to deter a potential threat.
