| The decision of what to do for an unwanted pregnancy is one of the toughest choices a person will have to make in their lifetime. It is a complicated and highly contested subject for our nation to face. What I do know however is that the government should not be involved in making this choice. Personally, I would seek to educate any who face this dilemma make the choice that can best preserve live. Medical technology will continue to advance and I hope that we can someday live in a world without the need to make this choice at all. | |||

There is a significant need for criminal justice reform as the current system in it's current form only creates life long criminals that have no where else to go in society. The US legal system must rely more heavily on the civil courts to provide just compensation to the victims of crimes, instead of removing people from the economy entirely. | |||

| If elected, my top priority will be repealing the Jones Act to lower the cost of living in Hawaii. My second priority would be ending the warrant-less spying of US citizens done by all federal agencies. My third priority will be to end the war on terror that has kept the US in over a decade of war. All of these have no cost and will instead significantly reduce the long term spending of the US government. |
