If seizing the assets would cause undo hardship on family (e.g. children/spouse) who may not have been aware of the crime or otherwise unable to do anything to stop it, no, don't seize that stuff! Blanket laws like that are dumb laws that will undoubtedly cause as much pain as they relieve. | |||
