| I believe a woman can make any choice for her own body. I just happen to believe that the 14th amendment protects the life, liberty, and justice of every citizen. How many fingers does it require to be a citizen? How many eyes? Or what parts missing forfeits a child's citizenship? I understand unwanted-ness and mistakes, but at whose expense? I do not believe we calculate life any different than an eagle's egg; which happens to be a federal crime to destroy one? So the federal government already acknowledges life in development as life itself. I say honor that. | |||

| America needs a balanced budget! To make a blanket statement in reducing defense spending is an unforeseen impossibility. Every area of our federal budget needs an audit. An income tax increase has never balanced a budget; it only is putting water in a bucket with holes in it! I believe a flat sales tax with elimination of an income tax would breed better results. I believe the civil war, for which has long since been paid, is reason enough to stop it. Later, it was then designed for non-citizens doing business here in the United States. | |||

| The FEC guidelines need reformation. It is the lobbying industry that greatly needs reformation or elimination. It is an out-of-control archaic system that only breeds political pandering. In Michigan, they have moved in with state offices! This is criminal at least. It is a crime against the average citizen that legislation affects the most. I believe if the individual limits were subject to all, and individual contributions only, would lower the political sway and maximize the importance of community first! | |||

| I believe if we defined the consequences and standardized the punishment, many violent crimes would decline. To make human trafficking victims subject to criminal processing is absurd and inhumane. Fear can make you do many things? Removing substance abusers from their environment is a must, investing in psychological repair and educational prevention, along with greater restrictions on opioid and more freedoms on organics, may balance the equation and concerns. The latter, may create an interesting way to fund abuse from government expenses, as well? | |||

In the creative spirit of American ingenuity, opportunity, and government cooperation we can meet the challenges of our coming generations. To boast no gun injuries, but to see an increase in violent crimes is statistical proof that the problem lies within society, not the weapon. I pray irresponsibility and accidents do not happen. The penalties are unconstitutional and its coverage disgraceful. I challenge you to talk to me about insurance statistics. 75% of Americans never use their Health Insurance! The facade of Group Insurance is a revolving door to every corporation annually and the platform failed miserably in two states! Choice is what Americans want, not what they received! | |||

For immigrants, I truly understand why everyone from around the globe would want to be an American! America was built on immigration and will continually be a beacon of hope and safe harbor to those that want what America offers. However, we need to be responsible to the American citizenship and those that have completed the process for citizenship. A blanket amnesty is an attack against truth, balance, and accountability. | |||

| I believe in State Sovereignty. The residents of the State of Michigan already put to vote their choice. For the Supreme Court to force Michigan to conform, violates a much a greater cause. I believe anyone can love anyone they like, although sex and love are not synonymous. Laws already allow for contractual relationships; Estate laws, HIPPA Laws, and Power of Attorney Laws. Other laws exists in the state of Michigan that would be violated upon this acceptance. Do we really want to set this precedence? | |||

Most personal retirement accounts are already swayed to the favors of the government, as to deferred taxation, early penalty, forced allocations at 70 1/2, and potential loss of benefits, or more taxation. Manipulating the system is not fixing the system. Teaching the Rule of 72 to fifth graders may help? Certainly, financial education is a must here in America. Not only for retirement, but for traditional life targeting. Long Term Care, understanding Medicare, and Medicaid are also needful to prepare the coming generation of many pitfalls. | |||

| I believe our overall spending has to decrease in order to be accountable to community. Accountability is a must. Transparency creates trust. It is the trust factors that have been violated in our federal budgets. For instance, Do we need a Homeland Security when we have a National Guard, NSA, CIA, FBI, & INS? Do we need to support the United Nations when it is mostly an expense for global expansion? If America is weak, we cannot help our International Partners for peace? So, the final word is Responsibility. Has our congressional representation established this? That is my resolve! | |||
| I support a National Sales Tax. Eliminating income tax would truly stir economic revitalization. Creating excise tax on specific vises can fund the many obstacles they create. By correcting our trade imbalances and incorporating entrepreneurship into our education, prisons, social, and veterans affairs, we would free our government from its overreach and unconstitutional operations. | |||
