| We need universal healthcare. That would be my top priority. We also need to require corporations to pay a living wage. Small businesses have special considerations and may require a lower minimum wage for some employees. Large corporations, however, should pay their employees a living wage. You can't call it a minimum wage if it doesn't meet the minimum requirement to live in a community. Finally, I would make renewable energy a priority. We need to decrease our dependence on fossil fuels and move towards sustainable fuels like wind, solar, and biofuels. |
