As such it is a legal right for citizens to have a medical procedure to ensure the health and well being of their families, loved ones, and their own health and bodily autonomy. It is a private decision made between an individual and their doctor. No one wants to have an abortion, but unfortunately they are sometimes medically necessarily. The best prevention of unwanted pregnancies are education and access to birth control. | |||

Instead I want to see our veterans receive the best healthcare, the best mental healthcare, job services, recruitment training, addiction services, and educational opportunities. We need criminal justice reform with no mandatory sentencing for non-violent crimes and non-incarceration options such as housing for the homeless instead of a cell, rehabilitation for the addicted instead of a high recidivism rate, and mental healthcare instead of locking up those who are most in need. We spend more than $30,000 a year, per inmate. To be a compassionate human being with common sense not only helps the root problems, but saves our nation and state money as well. However if a state is gutting their education, as Oklahoma is now, it creates a future economic crisis for the United States. Education must be a priority with better funding and consistency. Less testing and more resources for teachers. Education is the backbone of our society. If we don't invest in education, we don't invest in ourselves, nor our future. | |||

It is usually the lower class and Native tribes that have contaminated water and soil, along with higher cancer rates. I want to invest in green energy and infrastructure, to create jobs while moving away from an energy system that poisons our earth and has a boom/bust economic system. We need a more consistent form of energy and the consistent revenue and jobs provided by new energy systems. Fracking has without a doubt caused the tremendous increase in earthquakes causing property damage and crumbling infrastructure. | |||

Then we would slowly transition to ensure any flaws have been worked out before putting the entire nation on the same healthcare plan. | |||

It would cause an economic crash we have never before experienced in this country. Instead I want to see a clear path towards citizenship so that we can retain those who are investing in our communities and economy, while deporting those who are having a negative impact, such as criminals. Any illegal immigrant who is found guilty of a violent crime should be deported out of the country immediately without the ability to apply for citizenship. | |||

Syria needs our help, but we can no longer lead every fight. We should take a position to assist other countries but only defend our own. We can accomplish much through diplomacy and sanctions. | I will make Social Security financially solvent by raising the income cap of $118,500. Everyone should pay the same percentage instead of those that make more than $118,500 paying less than everyone else. To allow the wealthy to pay a smaller percentage than the lower class is inequitable and unfair. By raising this cap Social Security will be adequately funded without a reduction in benefits. | |||

| Corporate welfare should be extremely reduced, while individual welfare should maintain their status. Defense can be cut quite a bit while still having the largest military in the world and without losing jobs nor benefits. We can also increase revenue by decriminalizing and legalizing marijuana. Not only will it add tax revenue, but it will also lower healthcare costs, reduce the prison industrial complex, and create a manufacturing boom of hemp which can be used to replace paper and plastic products. We could become a major manufacturer of hemp products while being more environmentally green. | |||
| When I state an increase in the above taxes I am wanting to increase the tax revenue by decreasing tax credits. No wealthy person should pay a smaller percentage in taxes than those with a low income. | |||
