What is the Political Courage Test?

Utah Congressional Election 2016 Political Courage Test

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
The DOD budget is roughly half of annual spending accounting for $1 trillion per year. Most of this money is unaccounted for (i.e. - stolen). The day before "9/11", SECDEF Rumsfeld announced that the DOD had lost $2 trillion! That number has now risen to close to $7 trillion! I don't support a tax increase. Even if we set aside the debate of the ratification of the 16th Amendment, when it was initially "passed", it was ONLY a 1% tax that 99% of Americans were exempt from paying. This country was built and ran without taxes up until WWII.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
The Citizens United SCOTUS decision is unconstitutional and needs to be overturned. Corporations are not people. They are not born and do not die. They do not have inalienable rights bestowed to them from their Creator. They do not get to buy elections or politicians.
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?
No Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders?
The Prison Industrial Complex like that of the Military Industrial Complex has grown powerful and corrupt inside this culture of crony corporatism which allows companies to become exempt from the very laws and taxes they lobby against the People. Prisons are now privatized and require "customers". The Drug War is a failure mostly because the US Government trafficks most of the illicit drugs according to Congressional testimony. Very few people belong in jail and the few that do really deserve the death penalty. There's no reason for a "free" nation to have the largest prison population in the world!
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Enough said... Minimize government "skimming" and regulatory burdens meant to stifle competition and a free market will be a run away engine of growth! Remember, the Revolutionary War was started with the most powerful nation on Earth over unfair taxation. Between property taxes, sales tax, income tax, unemployment tax, medicare tax, social security tax, capital gains tax, estate tax, workman's comp tax, etc., Americans pay many times more taxes than we did during the Revolution or even in feudal Europe.
No Do you generally support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
I do not generally support the States' adoption of Federal education guidelines. Education issues, as with most issues, are 9th and 10th Amendment issues reserved to the People.
Yes Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline?
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
Yes Do you support increased regulations on the hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") industry?
I support all efforts to responsibly produce CHEAP CLEAN ENERGY! Hence, our country needs to rely on clean coal and natural gas. This country has enough coal and natural gas for over 1,000 years! Obama outside of law along with Republican cohorts has shut down over 800 coal power plants! That is akin to a military attack on the country. When you invade a country, one of the first priority targets is to bomb power plants. It stops air defenses, military factories, the economy, and the will of the People. Is Obama our enemy? Yes!
No Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
The sun controls climate change. In fact, global warming has been proven to be an elaborate hoax as a pretext to charge carbon taxes on the world's governments in excess of $100 trillion in 10 years! However, Geoengineering is a real program admitted by the DOD and DOE although the details are classified. Geoengineering is destroying the Earth's atmosphere, poisoning the soil, and causing massive health problems for Americans. This program was initially started to "combat" global warming, but it needs to end because it's destroying the Earth.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
If you don't understand that ANY regulation is infringement under the 2nd Amendment, then you're either stupid or a traitor. I can educate the former but I take special issue with the latter.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
Another "no brainer"... The ACA was co-written by Republican insurance lobbyists! Insurance profits increased 50% GLOBALLY the first year of implementation alone! Can you say screw job? Does anyone remember ACA architect Jonathan Gruber calling the America people stupid, so it was okay to obfuscate the bill and lie about it? It's more unfair taxation and needs to go away. It's only allowed big insurance companies and health providers to gobble up smaller competitive entities. 13 of 23 coops set up under the ACA have gone bankrupt.
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
All immigrants unlawfully present in the 50 United States and/or any US held territories must at least leave those areas until such time that they can made eligible for citizenship. I think there should be a penalty on these folks for their citizenship applications whether it be a time-based penalty or a less consideration penalty versus someone whose never illegally immigrated.
Yes Do you support same-sex marriage?
Yes, but not how you think. The government has ZERO purview over marriage. Marriage has been a religious institution for thousands of years. Unfortunately, marriage licenses weren't issued by government entities in the US until the 1920's. Therefore, the [government] marriage license is an over reach and is unconstitutional and unnecessary. The marriage certificate issued from a religious institution should suffice for government and the marketplace. Ergo, in this age, homosexuals can get married because there are institutions willing to issue them certificates; however, any institution should be able to deny them due to contentious objections without fear of reprisal.
No Do you support increased American intervention in Iraq and Syria beyond air support?
No Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
I do not support increased American intervention in Iraq or Syria because our current intervention involves US-made weapons and Libyan weapons as well as funding, training, and protection from the Pentagon to ISIS. This is the most Machiavellian and malevolent hegemonic policy in American history.
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
I support ending the Social Security program as it was always intended to be a Ponzi scheme. Furthermore, the Social Security account funds have already been spent in general spending and the ledger balances are just that - fake balance sheets to keep up the facade. This program was borrowed from the Bismark of Germany who purposely set the age of receipt at 65 because that was the life expectancy in Germany! It was never meant to be paid out. Furthermore, it's just more unfair taxation that needs to go away.

I'm for eliminating most of the federal bureaucracies that have ZERO constitutional purview. That would include the EPA, ATF, DOT, DOEd, IRS, NSA, DHS, FDA, SEC, etc. Most of these agencies don't help as they've been "captured" by the very industries they're supposed to regulate and supervise on behalf of the People. I would reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in other agencies that would stay like the DOD. We need to stop paying subsidies to farmers to not farm. We should grow as much food as possible. This is just one example of many needed changes across the federal government.
We started the Revolution over FAR LESS TAXES! If we eliminated FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING by decommissioning the Federal Reserve as well as auditing the Fed, then we'd find that over 70% of the National Debt is actually FRAUDULENT and CANCELABLE. Furthermore, cheap energy, low regulation, and virtually no taxes would supercharge and crank the economy into the financial stratosphere. The power to tax is the power to destroy and that is exactly what has happened to the middle class, the economy, and the country. This country was built almost entirely w/o taxes. Most taxes weren't implemented until WWII.
Top three priorities if elected are simple and don't require any additional funding: 1. End HIGH TREASON by representatives and officials at all levels from all 3 branches of government to include POTUS. 2. End FRAUD, WASTE, and ABUSE primarily by closing the Federal Reserve and the IRS. 3. Restore the Republic by rebooting the Constitution through States' Rights
