We should not continue war time spending in a time of general world peace. The U.S. spends more money in defense than the next six military powers in the world combined. Why is it necessary to stockpile weapons we don't need, when we don't adequately fund veterans' benefits? Why does the president commandeer billions of dollars from the defense budget to build a small part of his wall. Let's end the Afghaanistan and Iraq warss and bring our courageous men and women home.

My priority is to relieve the suffering of working class people, the middle class, and the involuntary needy befor bailing out big corporations, bankers, investment speculators, and inaurance companies who have been fleecing the public. I support direct payments to the unemployed, rather than lending money to corporation as a filter to assistence to the public. Businesses can and do go bankrupt every day with no concern for their workers.

Private corporations whose products pollute the environment should be taxed by the government to pay for a reduction of the damages they have caused. This is a national problem that Congress is best able to adress when state governments fail to do so.

An 1800 mile wall is a tremendous waste of money compared to minimum reduction in crime containment, and American infrastructure needs. There is a difference between residency and citizenship. The U.S. needs to reform its Immigration system to allow persons illegally in the U.S. to become visa holding legal resident workers and taxpayers, Isupport DACA and family reunification.

Any act of war, short of immediate danger of attack, must be determined by Congress. The U.S. should withdraw from military engagements in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria unless approved by Congress. . The U.S. should continue to provide military aid to Israel so that it can defend itself from another war and threats to its existence
