No In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
If any further tax increase was thought to be needed, Pres. Obama should have done so when he had Democrat majorities in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, and Governor Dayton now when he has Democrat majorities in the MN House and MN Senate. (Republicans have not been in control since). The problem is not that we don't tax enough. The problem is that we spend too much and too foolishly.

No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering taxes as a way of promoting growth in the economy?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
U.S. taxes on U.S. businesses must be "competitive" with the international marketplace. I would not call this a tax "incentive".
No Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
States should be allowed to keep more of their education tax dollars and not send it to Washington DC, so that States have more flexibility, control, and accountability.

Yes Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
It's in our nation's best interest to become energy-independent.
Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?

Making sure that America is economically strong is the best way to ensure we have the resources for a clean environment.
No Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Increased competition increases quality and decreases cost of healthcare. Increased government involvement increases costs and decreases quality of healthcare.
Unknown Position Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Unknown Position Do you support same-sex marriage?
Yes Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Yes, allow people to have more responsibility and flexibility in planning for their retirement savings.
