I am 100% pro-life because in the Bible there is a passage that says that God does not approve of the shedding of innocent blood. Babies are innocent and should not be murdered in the womb. I have demonstrated in my personal and public life with the choices I have made that I am pro-life. | |||

The tax code should not be used to control people. I support a low and proportional tax for individuals and corporations. When taxes are lower across the board, people will have an incentive to work. | |||

The government has shown that is not going to be successful because the profit motive is removed when money flows freely. | |||

Global warming is the direct result of increased activity on the sun. We have real environmental problems that need to be addressed: toxic chemicals being dumped, our military getting sick from burn pits they were forced to guard during the Iraq war. | |||

We need to bring back our charity hospitals and all the good that we as Americans have done in our country and around the world taking care of patients out of our own generosity and free will, cheerfully, because we care for others. We cannot leave this important duty to care for the sick to an ineffective government program. | |||

| I started reading state and federal legislation as a member of the Fayette County School board. Most of the federal laws passed in the last 12 years are not appropriate in a free country such as ours. I am running to repeal bad laws, end the federal debt because the money is being used to bribe the states, and reign in the overreach of the executive and judicial branches. If you want someone in D.C. who will objectively read the laws and vote no when they take away your freedom, then please cast your vote for me, Mary Kay Bacallao. |
