I also would support a commitment to bring back tax credits for the expansion on renewable energy development in North Carolina.

Adequate funding for public education is my top priority. Funding would be provided by reversing the tax cuts implemented by the current legislature that favors outside corporation and the wealthy over the majority of North Carolina's citizens. Second, I would work to expand healthcare coverage to the thousands that are being denied in our state. The funding is already available through the Affordable Care Act.
