But partner should have the legal standing of family I feel that civil union takes care of that if two (or more?) People are sactoed by their beliefs as a couple (married) the they should be given the benefits of civil union. | |||
| First in everyone's mind is jobs. I believe that to get employment to south Colorado Springs we need to give tax breaks to the small businessman (or woman) and tax incentives to those businesses that are looking to move here. We don't need to raise taxes, we need more tax payers, we'll get that by lowering taxes. that's how the big stores increased their profits, by selling more at lower prices. Secondly I would get rid of the deadwood, bureaucrats and unneeded administrators, on the state payrolls, including reducing the salary of elected officials. |
