What is the Political Courage Test?

Georgia Congressional Special Election, District 6, 2017 Political Courage Test

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I'll Fight to Defend the Constitution …including the right to life and our Second Amendment rights.
In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
While we all agree that there need to be reductions in spending--both discretionary and entitlement, we have to take immediate steps to reduce our current debt. I propose creating an additional income tax bracket of 50% for Americans earning more than $2.5 million per year. While this may seem like an increase for some, allowing deducitons for investments into new and start ups will increase growth. Taxpayers will do anything they can to reduce their income tax burden. They will start companies as long as they get the ability to deduct the losses.
Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?
No Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders?
We have too many Americans in prison. We need more education, job training and fair wages so this group does not seek a false sence of euphoria through drugs.
Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
No Do you generally support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Education needs to be in the hands of the educators at a local level.
Yes Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline?
Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
Do you support increased regulations on the hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") industry?
We need to self sustain our energy needs.
Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
To a certain degree.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
We have accepted legal and illegal immigrants into our great Country. We have allowed illiegal immigrants to stay and become part of our society. We need a path to legal status, but this legal status should be limited to just that. They should never be allowed to vote.
No Do you support same-sex marriage?
This should be a legal contract, not marriage. Marriage is for a man and a woman and was designed by God to protect the child.
No Do you support increased American intervention in Iraq and Syria beyond air support?
Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
Foot soldiers should remain at home and protect our borders.
No Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Social Security for low income and middle Americans is an essential part of their retirement. By placing their funds into the stock market, it will cause the market value of stocks to repidly increase and in some cases decrease therefore diluting some values and lost gaurenteed income for some recipiants.
