| Income inequality and addressing climate change. To address a income inequality, taxing the maga rich to pay for resources that can close a widening gap between those who have and those who do not. We must bring back redevelopment to fund affordable housing. We must provide a living wage for workers, free childcare, and early childhood education AND higher education as well as job training programs. We must fund public transportation and make it seamless and reliable; paid time off, a universal healthcare- single payer system, we can afford these things by closing the tax loophole that is prop 13. Must reform prop 13. None of this matters if we don?t have a habitable planet , so addressing global warming is most important. We must transition from fossil fuel to a renewable energy. No new permits and cap current wells. I can be trusted to do these things because I?m the only corporate free candidate in this race. That?s why i?m endorsed by grassroots environmental organizations like 350 Bay Area, Clean water action, APEN action, CBE action, Jane Fonda Climate Pac, California Environmental Voters, California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA cation), Bill McKibben, Our Revolution, many more and Bernie Sanders who said, ? this moment requires bold, progressive leadership.? I will deliver that for our district. |
