| The legislature in 2015 and 2018 fixed a property tax rate to bring in more money for education funding to balance funding for poorer areas of the state. That should be eliminated and replaced with the education fund which comes though our income taxes. The legislature has been lowering income taxes and raising others. Leave the rate where it is an lower spending. | |||

| Government spending can help economic growth, such as roads and infrastructure. RDA's have been successful in some cases. The details matter. One of the reasons property taxes have increased without tax increases are deals given to large businesses, which are ofset/paid for by fixed income payers and the rest of us. Use of public funds should be very limited and not used to create billion dollar arenas. Housing costs can be reduced by eliminating the property tax incentive we give for someone owning 45 houses and renting them out. If a person buys a summer or winter home they don't get the property tax incentive. | |||

We should reduce the impact of the 2015 and 2018 property tax formula changes and keep the income taxes for education. Reducing the taxes on food is good, providing the spending goes down, which it won't with the proposal. | |||

Someone different than me should have the right to work and live in Utah. I do believe we should respect privacy in bathrooms and showers. | |||
| Here are some of the issues I will fight for you if I am elected again to House District 30: Put more money in classrooms by reducing the cost of school buildings and reducing money leaving the education fund. Defend the U.S. Constitution by protecting the rights of Utah and the people from overreaching federal interference. Grow the economy by reducing burdensome regulations on businesses We can't continue to let the government take over our lives. I would be honored if you would vote for me. |
