School districts and private/charter schools should figure out how to best make use of that spending to appeal to the desires of the parents and students controlling that spending. | |||

Unemployment benefits have the unintended consequence of discouraging people from seeking work that doesn't pay as well as unemployment, so I am against expanding it. I support infrastructure spending, but to develop infrastructure, not to create make-work jobs. The only financial incentives I support for the private sector are the phased tax holiday for new businesses discussed earlier. | |||

Schools should be funded through a voucher system and it should be the prerogative of students and parents to hold the schools and teachers accountable. To the extent that the state assists with K-12 education, they should likewise offer assistance to older students continuing their education regardless of their age or whether the institution is a traditional 4-year college. Illegal immigrants graduating from Delaware high schools should be a priority for naturalization, but should not receive any special treatment until they are naturalized. | |||

| Marriage is a religious institution, not a state one. The state should honor all contracts of this nature regardless of the gender and number of consenting participants. The state has no business funding these research activities, but they should not be prohibited to private organizations wishing to pursue them. While no one should be discriminated against for any reason, the laws must be crafted carefully to allow private businesses to choose their own customers and limit the abuse of the court system by those disposed to file frivolous lawsuits for attention and easy money. | |||
| My highest priority is to simply be elected. In doing so, I will be one step towards dismantling the D/R monopoly in Delaware and nationwide. They have run the country for 150 years and have succeeded only in growing government, polarizing the country, and bankrupting future generations with debt. My next priority is to constrain the Federal government to its constitutional boundaries through active resistance from the states. Finally, I want to shrink government and reduce its cost and burdens to free Delaware businesses to create jobs for its citizens. |
