| No | f) Do you support increased spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation? | ||
| No | g) Do you support providing direct financial assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure? | ||
| We need permanent jobs. Therefore, increased spending on infrastructure projects do not create long term jobs, only short term jobs. Homeowners facing foreclosure should not be bailed out by the taxpayers. It is awful that they are facing foreclosure, however, it is not the taxpayers' responsibility to bail them out. | |||

| No | f) Do you support state funding for open space preservation? | ||
| Yes | g) Do you support enacting environmental regulations aimed at reducing the effects of climate change? | ||
| Developing energy - traditional and alternative - is essential. However, if alternative energy comes with significantly increased costs than traditional energy then I cannot support the funding. Eminent domain is only proper when municipalities have no other alternatives. I support it's limited use with very strict rules of when it can be used. I will support environmental regulations aimed at reducing the effects of climate change if they are not unduly burdensome or costly to the taxpayers. | |||

| Yes | f) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Massachusetts' anti-discrimination laws? | ||
| No | g) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Massachusetts' anti-discrimination laws? | ||
| I do not believe that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has the power to make laws. Therefore, absent a law passed by the Legislature or a Constitutional Amendment, I do not believe that same-sex couples should be granted marriage licenses. | |||
| Three big issues are jobs, taxes, and healthcare. Massachusetts must make job creation the top priority. This starts with an evaluation of what makes Massachusetts competitive and anti-competitive. We need to stop taxing and regulating businesses into non-existence. We cannot solve Massachusetts problems without creating, permanent, private sector jobs. This starts with lower taxes, less government spending, unburdening businesses from restrictive regulations and providing a predictable climate for business. One huge step forward is fixing our failed mandated health insurance policy. When Massachusetts starts mandating what insurance policies must cover such as infertility treatment all insurance costs increase. |
