| Yes | g) Do you support sexual education programs that include information on abstinence, contraceptives, and HIV/STD prevention methods? | ||
| No | h) Do you support abstinence-only sexual education programs? | ||
| I don't like the rigid labels "pro-choice" and "pro-life". I believe that abortion should be legal until the fetus is viable outside the womb. Otherwise it's an issue between a woman, her doctor (her family & clergy if she chooses). I believe in parental notification & consent unless their is evidence of incest or other factors that might endanger the minor. In this case a court appointed guardian should protect the minor's interests. | |||

| We are in difficult economic times. We have have to make tough choices. I believe that we have to find waste, fraud and duplication to save money. I do believe that law enforcement needs to have additional resources to enforce immigration and defend our ports and shorelines better. | |||
| I would like to see us decrease property taxes and slightly increase sales taxes to broaden the base of people that pay for services to include renters, tourists and illegal immigrants. | |||
| Early release should be carefully targeted at non-repeat offenders. State pensions are unsustainable at current levels. We need representatives that are willing to say "NO" to unions. Only non-critical government services should be privatized. I would not privatize police, fire and corrections, for example. | |||

| No | d) Should candidates for state office be encouraged to meet voluntary spending limits? | ||
| Yes | e) Do you support requiring full and timely disclosure of campaign finance information? | ||
| While I'm not fond of it, I do believe that if a candidate has the means to spend their own money on their campaign they should be allowed to do so. However, I don't think they should be able to loan their campaigns more than $500. If they want to contribute more than $500 it should be a contribution, not a loan. | |||

| No | f) Should red light cameras be used to detect traffic violations? | ||
| Yes | g) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police? | ||
| Alternatives to incarceration for non-violent offenders should only be first offenses. I think our police have better things to do with their time than arrest people for possessing a small amount of marijuana and our jails don't need to be filled with people that are guilty of such minor offenses. Minors over 15 that commit violent crimes should be prosecuted as adults at the discretion of prosecutors and judges. | |||

| 1)We need a forensic audit of our state budget to identify & eliminate waste, fraud and duplication. 2)We need to go to zero-based budgeting so that every agency & department will have to justify what's in its budget each year and not just request a percentage increase. 3)We should end the ban on offshore drilling in Florida's waters. It is far safer to exploit our own resources in our shallow waters than import oil, via tanker (where most accidents happen), from nations that dislike us who would drill for that same oil from just outside our territorial waters. |
