| I don't like the rigid labels "pro-choice" and "pro-life". I believe that abortion should be legal until the fetus is viable outside the womb. Otherwise it's an issue between a woman, her doctor (her family & clergy if she chooses). I believe in parental notification & consent unless their is evidence of incest or other factors that might endanger the minor. In this case a court appointed guardian should protect the minor's interests. | |||

| We are in difficult economic times. We have have to make tough choices. I believe that we have to find waste, fraud and duplication to save money. I do believe that law enforcement needs to have additional resources to enforce immigration and defend our ports and shorelines better. | |||

| While I'm not fond of it, I do believe that if a candidate has the means to spend their own money on their campaign they should be allowed to do so. However, I don't think they should be able to loan their campaigns more than $500. If they want to contribute more than $500 it should be a contribution, not a loan. | |||

I think our police have better things to do with their time than arrest people for possessing a small amount of marijuana and our jails don't need to be filled with people that are guilty of such minor offenses. It is far safer to exploit our own resources in our shallow waters than import oil, via tanker (where most accidents happen), from nations that dislike us who would drill for that same oil from just outside our territorial waters. |
