Our State with a huge budget deficit requires us to consider a range of issue?s to reduce or eliminate from our states budget, by maintaining the current status quo, this will allow me the opportunity to address each issue fairly and in a timely manner, Our States budget must be balanced before any thing else, even if it means special interest groups losing there funding. All of these issues are importent to me, some more than others like eliminating Special interest funding of programs not required by our states constitution.
Again We are right in the middle of a serious budget deficit, by increasing taxes We stand a chance of slowing down our struggling economy even more, and by doing away or lowering existing taxes We prolong our own recovery, as stated before until We have a balanced State budget there is very little We can do to help lower property taxes or any other kind of tax, I feel that Alcohol and tobacco taxes help to discourage the use of these products. Therefore providing an incentive to stop using these products
