| Revisions to the family laws have, over the years, arguably turned marriage into a one-sided contract of adhesion. It seems that the institution of marriage may need to be completely revamped if it is to remain relevant. One of the problems with trying to discuss any issue involving relations between the sexes, though, is that dissidents from the feminist orthodoxy are denounced as misogynists, degenerates, etc., and people close their minds to whatever they have to say. So it's hard to have a productive dialog about those issues. | |||
| My top priority is to legalize assisted suicide for everyone who wants to die, regardless of their reason. Some people are unable to fit into society, and it would be best to allow them a reliable method of their choice for ending their lives, if that is what they desire. I favor repealing laws that allow people to be civilly committed for suicidal behavior and ideation. I also favor amending the Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to guarantee those in state and federal custody the right to commit suicide. |
