| While I personally do not agree with abortion, I have respect for the decision made in Roe v. Wade. This decision was made with great deliberation and respect for The Constitution. I believe that we should fight to protect our fundamental rights as citizens to live freely without the government making our personal moral choices. While I do not agree with abortion because of my personal beliefs, I do agree that our citizens have the right to make these personal decisions without the government intruding into their own personal life. | |||

| Spending on wasteful government programs that produce no results for the citizens of Ohio. We have around 3,000 state agencies and initiatives in Ohio. Many of them overlap or are completely ineffective. Those that are found to produce no positive results or are redundant should be eliminated and those that overlap should be consolidated and streamlined in order to reduce wasteful spending. | |||
| Overall, I will vote against any statewide tax increase on the working and middle-class families of Ohio in the coming term. I believe, as leaders, we should prove to Ohio and ourselves that we can be responsible with the money we currently collect before asking residents for more! Our current leaders ask for more and more and produce worse and worse result. Until this state proves that it can be run efficiently and produce better results for Ohioans, I won't ask you for ANY more taxes. | |||

| I support a cap on College Tuition in Ohio. Ohio is one of the most expensive states in this country to send your child to public college in, something I find unacceptable. We should cap tuition costs at public universities for up to five years in order to be competitive. We should greatly increase educational funding with a lottery system that ONLY supports education in Ohio. We must also strive to get Ohioans who do not attend 4-year colleges into Community Colleges in order to have the best-educated workforce in America. | |||

| I support low-interest loans for those who start small-businesses in Ohio as well as for those who want to expand. I also support tax credits for those who chose to use energy-efficient processes and facilities. We should encourage our industries to be energy-efficient by creating tax incentive to improve and expand in current facilities instead of building anew and abandoning their older facilities. | |||

| I support expanding tax incentives for medium and large-scale employers who provide healthcare to employees while creating a tax penalty for those who do not provide coverage. Small businesses should be aided by the state in their efforts to insure employees so that they may remain competitive with those larger businesses. This is why I support creating a 'large-pool' system that would allow small businesses to buy healthcare plans for employees through a large group offered by the state. The state would be able to provide low-cost coverage by 'pooling' these employees into one large group. | |||

| My top priority in Ohio is creating the best-educated workforce in America. To do so we must properly fund public schools through a state-constitutional amendment that focuses all of Ohio's lottery money on education. We must freeze college tuition costs in Ohio for up to five years, as they are overly expensive, and increase funding at the state level. We must encourage those who do not attend 4-year colleges to attend Community and Technical Colleges with greater assistance through financial aid and income tax abatements while in college (for your first two years). | |||
