Reason for Seeking Public Office:

In 2011, John got tired of power outages in his neighborhood and in the community. Against better judgement, he started petitioning his local energy provider and working with his then State Representative Steve Santarsiero to get fixes for his circuit and other circuits within Lower Makefield. He was successful and that work inspired him to run in 2013 on a platform of improving our infrastructure, protecting our open space, and improving the Township's financial management. John lost by 126 votes in majority Republican Township.

Undeterred, John ran again in 2015 and became the first Democrat elected the Lower Makefield Board of Supervisors in 8 years.

John lives in the Clearview Estates neighborhood with his wife Joanne and two children: Matt and Charlotte. He currently serves as Supervisor Liaison to the Zoning Hearing Board, Electronic Media Advisory Board, Emergency Management Committee, and the Golf Committee and became Chair of the Board in 2018.

Outside of Lower Makefield, John is the Vice President for Business Solutions for Zeta Global, a data-driven marketing technology innovator whose SaaS-based marketing cloud helps leading brands acquire, retain and grow customer relationships. A recognized industry leader, Zeta deploys over 190 billion messages each year for leading online and Fortune 1000 companies.

Formerly a First Vice President for J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, he was responsible for online marketing to credit card customers. Previously, John has held several positions in financial services including internet technology and product management roles at Comerica Bank in Detroit. John also ran the emerging issues research program at the Bank Administration Institute in Chicago.

John began his career in financial services policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington DC. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University.
