Reason for Seeking Public Office:

All you have to do is look in the Post & Courier for evidence of needed change in South Carolina. The Senate is actually considering giving gun owners a special $5000 gun waiver from bankruptcy. Thanks to a nod from our governor, Citadel cadets can keep guns in their cars. I'm not making this up. By advocating for simple gun safety such as closure of gun sale loopholes, I will add a reasonable voice to the SC House. If potential falls result in strict ladder regulation, then guns, which contribute to 33,000 deaths a year, also require reasonable regulation. There are many other challenges for the SC Legislature to address, including education, infrastructure, and employment. I will add the Charleston Area Justice Ministry command from Micah 6:8 to "do justice" to this list. Meanwhile, as the SC Senate is busy deciding which people can use which bathroom, I make a pledge to you for progress in "Education, Roads & Respect" in South Carolina.
