Priority Issues:
ESTABLISH SPENDING PRIORITIES I will work with you to determine State spending priorities. We can no longer borrow funds for pet political projects that do not increase direct economic benefit to citizens.
PROTECT OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS Hartford continues to erode the rights of citizens under the second amendment. As the wife of a retired law enforcement officer and a law-abiding citizens that has experienced the first-hand the barriers to obtaining a conceal carry permit, I am committed to repealing laws that infringe upon our second amendment rights.
FULLY SUPPORT HEALTHCARE I will stop the attack on our health care systems. Requiring hospitals to pay huge taxes while reducing the funds available to help provide healthcare for our most vulnerable citizens is a recipe for disaster. The quality of healthcare is jeopardized and our friends and neighbors are losing their jobs at an alarming rate.
ENCOURAGE BUSINESS I pledge to support a common sense approach to loosen regulations on small business to encourage and support development and job creation. I have a background in economic development and will help to create a positive environment for business.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM Hartford continues to treat the lack of economic opportunity, quality education, and mental health as a Police Issue. Supporting local, non-profits is the best way to create communities that identify and solve their own problems.
