Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I feel that no one should run unopposed. There has been no challenger to Republicans in the district since 2006. When a candidate wins the republican primary and if there is no other party challenger, he or she gets the job. No need to appear on the ballot for the general election. This is wrong on many levels. Without opposition there is no accountability. Without a choice there can be no change. There is a lapse in representation. There is apathy and a perception that your vote doesn't count. It does. Especially in local elections. It is these state and local elections that have a direct impact on our lives. These are the elections that demand our greatest attention. We need to be involved in our government to be sure it is working for us all. My goal is to represent ALL of the citizens of District 69.
