Reason for Seeking Public Office:

"Why am I running for State Representative? Because the State that you and I love has been in a deep crisis for over 2 years, but your representatives at the State Capitol have failed to meet the challenge. We need new leadership. I want to work for you, and as a retiree, I can devote the needed time to it. We need to take significant action to improve the state budget. That is the first step to improving our schools and our health care. I've never been in politics; rather, I was in public service for over 40 years, and I want to continue that by serving you in the State House."
